Job Title: Sign-Maker/ Production Lead

Job Summary:
The Sign-Maker/ Production Lead is a professional, self-motivated team player with strong communication skills, experienced in manufacturing vinyl signage to be used on signs such as wall murals, window graphics, vehicle wraps, post & panel signs, office & lobby signs and more. This person is detail-oriented, works well in a fast-paced team environment and is able to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Production Lead is self-confident and is not afraid to show their professional ability, creative genius, and most importantly, to have fun.
Job Responsibilities

Responsible for fabricating and installing all in-house projects and maintaining the shop within the office. Also will help with site surveys and working with project managers to ensure installations are covered externally when needed.

Responsibilities
  1. Schedule the fabrication of in-house sign projects. Print, fabricate and assemble in-house signs.
  2. Coordinate with Project Managers on the scoping and fabrication of internally produced signage.
  3. Manage inventory of materials, supplies and tools in the shop area of the office. Work closely with company Admin to order items when needed.
  4. Keep shop clean including collecting trash daily, putting trash outside weekly, keeping floor swept clean, and storing tools and materials neatly.
  5. Regulary maintain equipment to ensure they last a long time. This includes the HP printer in particular, but all sign-making equipment in the shop.
Experience & Qualifications
  1. 5 years sign as a professional sign maker; knows how to produce and fabricae signage
  2. Large format digital printing experience. Bonus points if you have experience with an HP 300 series latex printer and a Graphtex FC9000-160 plotter.
  3. Experienced with Corebridge and Flexi software
  4. Experience with Adobe Design tool suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
  5. Knowledgeable in color management
  6. Able to work in a fast-moving work environment managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Able to manage a workshop with many dozens of tools, supplies and materials.
  8. Able to work confidently and expertly with clients, subcontractors and vendors.
  9. Vehicle wrap installation highly valued, though not required
