Customer Service Representative


The Customer Service Representative works closely with the owner and project managers (PMs) assisting them with sale support activities while handling administrative and other duties. This position provides an opportunity to pursue a career as a project manager in the commercial sign industry with a growing sign company in Atlanta.

  • This position offers advancement opportunities.
  • This is an hourly wage position.  Wage is $17-$20 per hour based on experience.
  • Paid Vacation will be provided. One (1) week of vacation will be provided per annum and will increase based on years of service.
  • The company offers eight (8) paid holidays.
  • Mileage reimbursements are offered based on work usage.
Job Summary
Work closely with the Owner and Project Managers (PMs) assisting them with sale support activities while handling administrative and other duties in the office.  This position provides an opportunity to pursue a career as a Project Manager in the commercial sign and graphics industry with a growing sign company in Atlanta.   
This position has two major sets of responsibilities including:  (1) Sales Support activities for the Project Management team and (2) Administrative Duties in the office.  Duties include answering phone calls, qualifying sales leads, directing leads to PMs, entering lead information into the CRM, assisting with permitting projects, scheduling site surveys, occasionally helping the Signmaker with large projects and installations and more.  There will also be other duties as may be assigned.

  • Answer phone and service customers accordingly. During the busy and steady seasons, this is a primary activity.  Direct calls to the appropriate team member (e.g. PMs, Signmaker, Owner) as needed. 
  • Qualify leads, separating calls for the appropriate person.  Forward qualified leads to PMs and/or schedule appointments with PMs.
  • Assist PMs by entering lead info into Corebridge (CRM), work with partners to schedule/ manage permitting activities and scheduling site surveys.
  • Observe PMs as they scope and estimate projects.  Once on the job for a few months, begin to estimate simple projects.  Shadow PMs to eventually learn their position.
  • Participate on site surveys and installations as time permits.
  • Assist Signmaker with tasks such as weeding and laminating on large projects during peak periods.  Learn the basics of signmaking by observing Signmaker to build product knowledge.

  • Able to multi-task in a fast-moving work environment managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Able to work confidently and expertly with clients, subcontractors and vendors.
  • Strong math and computer skills, including software (Windows, Office, Word, Excel), hardware, programs, and applications. 
  • Possess High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess valid Drivers License.
  • Minimum three years experience in an office, customer service position, project management or sales position.
  • Excellent communication skills in fluent English, including the ability to present and speak in public.
  • Comprehensive computer skills 
Desired Experience (highly preferable and will be a plus)
  • Commercial sign and graphics industry experience.
  • Desire to have a career in signage sales as a Project Manager.
  • Experience in Sales.
  • Experience with Corebridge, Click-up and/or Adobe Illustrator.
  •  Project Management experience.
Compensation: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
